A few months ago, when Rhiannon Agostinho tried looking for a group on Facebook where she could chat with people about the CBC and its happenings, she came up empty. So she started her own. Today, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation group is one of many of Facebook groups where thousands of fans gather. Rhiannon, an editor at CBC Newsworld, says the group was originally meant for CBC employes, but “Since then, other people have joined and given feedback which is great; I want more of that.”

New iPhone Data Plan for International Roaming is introduced

From today two new plans for iPhone customers travelling subscribers abroad is being offered by AT&T . Package A is $120 a month for 100MB of international data and package B is $200 a month for 200MB. The best thing is that these plans can be availed and stopped at any time without any long term commitments. AT&T Cell phones news

Even the venerable New York Times isn't immune to the newspaper slump: Compared to last July, total revenues from continuing operations decreased 10.1 percent, advertising revenues decreased 16.2 percent and circulation revenues decreased 0.5 percent. Print ad sales were the killer once again, and all is pretty much in line with last month’s report, except for online.
